“The purpose of this organization shall be to serve as a life-affirming presence on campus. To build a campus culture that values life, especially that of the unborn, and to stand in the gap as a positive defense where that human life is being threatened. To serve as a practical resource to student parents who need support with pregnancy and parenting. To foster and encourage healthy relationships by helping students honor and value themselves.”
This is the Mission Statement of the new student organization at the University of Wisconsin – River Falls. As the pandemic was losing its fury last spring and as we headed into the summer, the Options staff met with students, a faculty member, a campus minister, and a national pro-life organization rep to launch Options @ UWRF. It will bring the mission, message, and support of our clinic right to students on campus. We are thrilled to begin the adventure this fall!
