A Clinic, Lifeline & Ministry

Loving and serving those most vulnerable to abortion

We are Friends of Options, the fundraising support system for the Options for Women –  River Falls clinic. When you become a part of Friends of Options, you become the hands, feet and finances which allow our staff to provide high quality, professional pregnancy and sexual health-related medical services to women and men, all free of charge. Because of our professional no-cost medical services, the clinic serves as a powerful, life-affirming choice for women and men in the River Falls and Western Wisconsin community.

When asked what Options for Women – River Falls does for expecting mothers and couples, I often summarize with “We are here to support new and expecting parents with whatever they need, in whatever way we can.” One of the expecting mothers who recently came in for help hesitated to share a need with us; “try me,” I said. Sure enough, we were able to connect her with exactly the right support to meet her need. Friends of Options becomes the practical way that donors like you can encourage women and couples to choose life for their unborn child.

You are invited to make a vital impact in our community by joining Friends of Options – River Falls. Your support can mean the difference between life and death for those facing an unplanned pregnancy. Join together with other like-minded, life-affirming individuals aiming to make abortion unthinkable and enabling women and men to choose what is best for their families: LIFE!

Friends of Options - River Falls

As a Christian ministry, we strive to witness God’s love to each and every visitor who walks through the door. Sometimes we have the blessing of praying with a struggling mother or having a beautiful conversation about faith. Even when there is no direct opening for outward ministry, we always pray for our clients, bringing them and their situations to the One with all the wisdom, power, and love they will ever need, asking Him to be present in their lives. There is ‘something different’ about our clinic from the moment you walk through the door. That is the Lord’s presence. Friends of Options is a ministry of God’s presence, bringing His love in real ways to those we serve.

When Does a “Fetus” Become a “Person”?

“Okay, so a fetus may be scientifically alive at conception, but it’s not a person yet – so it’s okay to terminate it.”  This argument is basically stating that a fetus is not a person because it cannot live on its own, breathe air on its own, etc. Others may also make the point that… Read More »When Does a “Fetus” Become a “Person”?
