Over the Summertime, clinic leadership talked behind-the-scenes about the possibility of adding hours to the clinic’s weekly schedule. When Options for Women/River Falls opened its doors on the Main Street location in 2016, clients were seen on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. A few years later, Fridays were added in an effort to bookend the weekend and offer clients more opportunities to receive services. A very busy August this year closed the deal and confirmed the trend developing over the last several months – it was time to expand once again!
Wednesday September 8th was a very special day at the clinic. Not only was it the first Wednesday any of us remembered being open, it marked the first time in the clinic’s 37-year history that Options for Women/River Falls was a 5-days-per-week operation! Now, Monday through Friday, clients are offered no-cost life-affirming services and support.
