Meet Our New Nurse: Katie Goodwin
“I began as a nurse at Options for Women – River Falls in January. I also work at Western Wisconsin Health as a bedside nurse. I have always been passionate about helping women and babies. I was born 6 weeks early and spent 6 weeks in the NICU. Without God’s intervention, I would not be here today. In 2025, I had a miscarriage. This has taught me so much—including beautiful qualities of Jesus I had never experienced before and intensified my passion for how precious life is.
I am married to my high school sweetheart, and we have a crazy golden retriever named Ralph. A fun fact about me is that I LOVE COFFEE! I began working at a coffee shop when I was 15, and even now I roast beans at a local Dunn Brothers Coffee Shop.”
