On November 23, we lost a dear friend in ministry with the sudden passing of Patty Langford. The wife of our longtime treasurer John Langford, Patty was a personal friend to many at Options. Known for her effervescent personality and love for ministry, Patty was a consummate champion for life. She was always on hand during the months-long planning process for our banquets, offering valuable insight, wisdom, and expertise.
Whenever there was a gathering for Options, Patty was there. This ministry would not be what it is today without Patty’s service and sacrifice for her husband and our clients. Yet even as we mourn alongside Patty’s family, we rejoice because as wonderful as her personality and service was, it was the person of Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross that Patty was counting on. Today, Patty is in Jesus’ arms and we look to Him in gratitude for sharing her with us.
Patty and John Langford have had an inspiring dedication to our clinic. In 2023, they were the recipients of the “Champions for Life” award at our annual spring banquet.
