Executive Director’s Report – Winter 2024
I have been the Executive Director for a few months now and I am truly honored to work with an outstanding group of individuals who make up Options for Women/River Falls, from the Board of Directors, the Staff and Volunteers and our prayer warriors.
As we approach the end of the year our thoughts turn to the year to come and the plans for the future and the path we would like to take, and so it is with Options for Women/River Falls. We have plans and objectives that we would like to achieve for the growth and strength of this organization in 2025.
Like everything in life teamwork always make the job go easier, faster, and better for everyone involved, and since you are involved with Options for Women/River Falls we want you to know our plans and objectives so we can work together.
We have ambitious goals for 2025, the two at the top of the list are abortion pill reversal and youth groups.
Abortion Pill Reversal 
Currently, based on various studies, over 50% of abortions are performed using the abortion pills. Instead of the abortion being conducted at a facility with medical personnel present the abortion is performed in the home, in many cases alone. With the abortion pill reversal, a woman has 72 hours after taking the abortion pills, to take measures to reverse the process and have an opportunity to save their baby.
We are working through the procedures to be a provider and counselor for those that have taken the abortion pills and have regretted their decision and have a charge of heart.
Youth Group 
Get youth groups actively involved in assisting our staff/ volunteers at events, parades, and County Fair. This would provide us with the ability to counteract the messages the youth are receiving about life. We would do this by providing training prior to assisting in our events so they can interact correctly with those attend the event, and we could provide an incentive to the youth group to expand their growth.
These are just two of the avenues we will be pursing in 2025, please continue to pray for us and our efforts and watch us as we grow in our plans.
